UPDATED 3/16: Coronavirus Health Alert

UPDATED 3/16/20

Dear Patients,

Your safety and the welfare of our community is always top priority of my practice. In light of the current situation with COVID-19, we are actively monitoring the evolving pandemic status locally, nationally, and globally.

In order to prevent further spread of this infectious disease, we have decided to take swift action to adhere to and follow the policies and guidelines set forth by the CDC, World Health Orginization, industry experts, local and regional governments.

We believe that it is our responsibility to implement temporary policies that will reduce transmission and help to protect our community while allowing us to care for those patients who are in need of emergency treatment.

As we are seeing in other countries and communities that have preceded us in this crisis, these measures, implemented in a timely manner, can save lives.

Effective as of March 16, 2020 all elective treatment procedures will be postponed or rescheduled. Appointments will be limited to those patients in need of emergency care. This policy and it's criteria will thereafter be re-evaluated every week and modified on the basis of current information and status of the situation.

Rest assured that Dr. Poelman will be available by phone or email for you if you have any questions.

In light of the recent community health concerns with COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we are asking all patients who are currently ill, regardless of the type of illness, to postpone any currently scheduled dental care for 3 weeks.

In addition, if you have traveled outside the US within recent weeks, regardless of your current health condition, we also ask you to postpone dental care for 3 weeks.

If you are elderly or have a higher health risk, feel free to contact us to postpone your appointment as well.

As always, we maintain a very high standard regarding health and safety in our office for both our patients and our team. Our sterilization processes far exceed standard sterilization procedures mandated by the CDC. All of our treatment rooms, medical instruments, waiting rooms and restrooms are cleaned and sterilized extensively.

Most of all, we want you to rest assured that if you are not sick, you feel great and are ready for a clean, bright smile, then feel free to come see us for your currently scheduled appointment! We'd love to see you!

You can text or call us at 858-487-1234, email us at info@powayqualitydental.com, or click the button below and request your change via our online appointment request form. Please indicate you are rescheduling due to this notice.

Thank you!
